Another busy weekend complete. Saturday night was Another busy weekend complete. Saturday night was spent at brickhousevineyard celebrating with a fantastic couple and their family and friends. Great music and plenty of moments that remind me why I love weddings so much. Today the team were at riverdartcp for a fun-filled event with a brilliant crowd and a great atmosphere throughout. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, sang along, and kept the energy going all weekend. Currently, I’m in the most nerve-racking phase of the creative process: The Video Export! It’s easily the most time-consuming part of the job, but the anticipation is real! As soon as these files are out, the fun really starts—we move straight into designing the lighting show to match the new tracks and I know kit_Greenslade is keen to get that sorted asap!! We couldn’t have picked a more testing day to see the new Colyton Youth Football U11’s team jackets in action. Between the freezing cold breeze, the blue skies and those surprise hailstones. I had the privilege of watching two of their games today; winning 2-0 in the first match and a defeat of 3-2 in the second game. This is more than just a logo on a jacket. New Year’s Eve at smugglershotel, Brixham was a gr New Year’s Eve at smugglershotel, Brixham was a great way to see in the New Year. I was lucky enough to DJ a private party there and it really was a cracking night from start to finish. Starting the evening with welcome drinks with a live pianist, moving in to background music for dinner. Looking back over the past 12 months, it’s been full of huge crowds, big dancefloors and some incredible nights. But ending the year DJing a small private party in Brixham for around 35 people was a perfect reminder that it’s not always about the numbers. Fantastic food, great company, and genuinely lovely hosts. The atmosphere was spot on and the dancefloor stayed busy right through to the early hours of New Year’s Day! Big thanks to everyone involved and to the team at Smugglers Hotel for making it such an enjoyable night. A lovely way to round off the year and head into the next one. #devondj_uk #djlife #music

Staff panto……always great fun, and never boring, t Staff panto……always great fun, and never boring, three shows back to back. They keep you on your toes with quick changes, big characters, and plenty of moments where you just have to adapt. They’re also a great chance for students to see how live events really work. Being able to support these shows while passing on real, hands-on experience is something I genuinely enjoy. And teamwork is key with these types of events! Huge thanks to kit_Greenslade for programming the lighting for these shows! Plus it gives us chance to go all out with equipment and effects 😁

School productions always hit a bit differently. T School productions always hit a bit differently. There’s so much work that goes in behind the scenes, and I’m really proud to be part of that, From rigging to radio mics to lighting challenges and last-minute fixes, it’s been all hands on deck. What’s been most rewarding is helping students learn the technical side properly — giving them responsibility, letting them make decisions, and supporting them when things don’t quite go to plan. Watching their confidence grow over the run of a show is brilliant.
